Dallas Texas

When we left Alabama, we had land covered snow until we arrived at "Dallas City Limit" but it was still extremely cold

Traveling Alabama to Arizona

Some facts traveling through Texas.
Speed Limit 80 miles an hour
Huge wind mill fields
Lot's of oil well drills and pumps. Highest fuel prices in mid west
Slept near Little Rock AK it was -8c (17F)all night

RV Stats
Drove hwy's 72, 40, 30, 20 & 10
1,676 miles (2,697kl)
Fuel cost US$834 for 248 US gallons (938 liters)
This averages out to 6.75m/gl but add to this 18 hrs generator and RV furnace is fueled powered. Normaly it should be 7.2 m/gl

Dallas to Tucson

Dallas to Tucson is well over 500 miles straight and flat as you can see in the GPS next curve some 200 miles. We saw Texas size huge wind mills farms, oil wells refineries galore. We had oil pumps left and right of us however the price of fuel in Texas is higher than Alabama and Arizona ??????

Red Bay Alabama "SNOW"

We left Montreal for a 2,200kl (1,400 miles) drive due south to Red Bay Alabama and ended up in 6-8 in. of snow. People here don't remember ever having this much snow, and the state has no snow removal equipment. Snow has stop but we are in freezing rain and expect to last 3-4 days.l
